Lanchester Wines reintroduces Dragon Tree Kombucha

Lanchester Wines has relaunched Dragon Tree Kombucha to tap into demand for healthy and low/no alcohol drinks.

Dragon Tree Kombucha, which was originally launched 16 years ago, is packaged in a recyclable 25cl can. The drink is a gently sparkling fruity tea with natural flavours of hibiscus and rosehip, which also gives it a light pink colour.

The Kombucha is gluten-free and suitable for vegans and each can contains 50%  of your daily recommended intake of Vitamins C, B6, B12, Thiamin, Folic Acid, Niacin and Biotin. Each can contains 93 calories.

The Rosehip extract has been shown to help increase joint mobility, while maintaining healthy and flexible joints, according to the producer. Rosehip is also rich in the antioxidants Vitamin C and polyphenols.

Tony Cleary, managing director of Lanchester Wines, said: “Dragon Tree was one of the first Kombucha drinks to launch in the UK and enjoyed huge success. We are now relaunching at a time when Kombucha sales are soaring and consumers are becoming healthier and more conscious.

“While Dragon Tree boasts numerous health benefits, this isn’t to the detriment of taste - Dragon Tree is gently sparkling with a light and fruity taste. When served chilled, we believe Dragon Tree is the perfect non-alcoholic, functional soft drink which not only tastes great but provides added health benefits too.”
